Granite is a very hard coarse-grained igneous rock formed millions of years ago through volcanic activity. It is made up of a variety of minerals including large amounts of quartz and feldspar which gives granite it's huge array of beautiful colours.

Granite is one of the oldest, most respected and durable of building materials. Traditionally it is the material chosen by architects and engineers when permanence, enduring colour and freedom from maintenance are the main requirements.
